Friday January 6, 2017 , 12 year old male brought a gun to Anthony Saville Middle school located near Grand Teton Drive and Jones Boulevard around 9:30 a.m.

Police were informed by another student about the gun, though the male student said he didn’t want to use the gun in a threatening way. “If parents knew what kids took to school, I think that we could have avoid this, parents shouldn’t have personal stuff/dangerous belongings around kids or close to where kids can see it , I think that every kid knows from right and wrong .. Kids also know what consequences come with their actions, ” stated Mr. Stephens.

In another case Two teens at Gibson middle school were arrested for holding a gun and ammo while on campus. This incident happened sometime last week around 3 p.m. On Friday January 6, 2017. Both teens were taken to custody. Police Officer Young said “One of the student was found with the gun while the other kid was found with ammo. Both 13 and 14 year old were charged with possession of a dangerous weapon on school property.

    i think parents should always know what kids are taking to school , and know what their doing paying attention to their kids.
