 The first time in more than a decade Las Vegas made history with recent snowfall this past week.

The snowfall in Las Vegas hit for the third time this month of February

The Las Vegas strip and McCarran Airport picked up the highest amount of snow of any location in Las Vegas–approximately 6 to 10 inches.

It was the first measurable snowfall since 2008, making it memorable for many people.

On Friday, the twenty-first of February, CCSD decided to cancel all classes due to the roads covered in black ice, making it dangerous for buses to travel the roadways.
