The Desert Pines Writing Club is looking for new members that are writers or non-writers that are interested in joining the club as a career path or just something to pursue as a hobby. Anybody can join if they are interested in joining the Writing Club.

However, this club is not something that you have to feel that you need to commit to after joining the club. You are free to stay in the club if you feel this club is the right fit for you or you may quit if this club is not the right fit for you.

“You don’t have to fully commit to it if you do not want to. You can just stop by and see what we’re about and if you like it you can stay awhile and if it’s not for you, then we will not hold it against you,” said club president Kai Bangs.

Writing Club is not only just for writing, it’s also a club to collaborate with writers and share your ideas with them to create who you are as a person and also a writer.

“I joined because I always loved writing, its like always been part of who I am. I had friends who are interested in writing and it was fun to see them.” Bangs said.

If you are interested in joining the Desert Pines Writing Club, the club always meets up on Mondays after school at 2:15 P.M.

“If you want to be a writer or you are a writer, just know that we’re very open.” said Bangs. “We love to hear your ideas. We love it when new people join.”
