Most DP students say that the music played during lunch on Fridays helps get them hyped with their friends and for the weekend, although some wish that the DJs would mix up the selections a bit.

“They should put a mix of Hispanic and African American music, not just the same songs all over again,” said 10th grader Bethsy Piedrasanta.

Overall, most students seem to enjoy the music on Fridays.

“I think it’s cool that they put music on during lunch so people can have some energy and not be bored all the time,” said 10th grader Jasmine Hernandez.
