The season of softball has started up at Desert Pines. Softball practice is everyday after school.  

Coach Jones shared with the Jaguar Post why she is excited about this new season.

” I’m most excited about getting to be on the field coaching again,” Jones said. “I’m so excited to work with this group of softball players and teach them how  to play, as well as share my love of the game.” 

This will be the final season for some players who are graduating this year.  Senior Beviyani Garica said that she felt good, but was “a little sad” that her time on the DP softball team was ending. 

The softball team has their next home game against Canyon Springs on Friday, March 25th.
